Description

ABOUT THIS PAINTING:

Original abstract painting 24×36.  Textured with molding paste, and sealed with a high quality varnish to ensure years of enjoyment and protection from sun and dust.  This modern painting has primary shades of blue, white, and gray, with accent colors including orange and purple.  It is done on a 1-inch thick, gallery-wrapped canvas and does not need to be framed. This is definitely a statement piece and will stand out on any wall.  I created this on a particularly rainy Portland day–and yes, we have plenty to choose from–but this day was quite stormy, with booming thunder.  This little vision popped into my head, and I just started painting. “Riding The Storm” was the result.
