ABOUT THIS PAINTING
Modern, original, abstract landscape art by Amy Provonchee.  This 24×48 painting is on canvas, using acrylic and multi-media surfaces to obtain a rich, textured painting.

This one has had a couple of iterations. It started out much less colorful, and then I realized I was holding back on using my brights for some reason. I finally decided just to let go, and here’s the final result. Honestly, it reminds me of some sort of fairy tale world where colors are extra vivid, and people are extra happy. I’ve named it “Where The Fairies Live”, and it’s done in beautiful shades of turquoise, blues, purples, magenta, grey and hints of orange brown.
